Jude Okeke Yvonne

Yvonne is the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at African Caribbean Heritage Alliance (ACHA). She holds a Bachelor of Science degree (First Class Honours) as well as a Master’s degree (First Class Honours) in Accounting from the Covenant University. She is a young and dynamic lady with a great zeal for learning and honing the skills which are valuable to a performance-driven organization, that is committed to imparting the lives of people, institutions and vulnerable segments around the world.

At ACHA, she is responsible for the documentation of report for every project activity and while ensuring that every activity scheduled in the workplan is carried out as at when due and within financial plan per event or activity conducted. She is a project stakeholder whose most important task is to evaluate social services provided by ACHA and management of knowledge to meet required project targets.

Before her appointment as the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, she was a Graduate Intern whose has over the years been highly instrumental in various landmarks successes of ACHA including its registration as an NGO in Nigeria. It is instructive to observe that Yvonne is one of the foremost staff of ACHA.

 

Yvonne is a ardent believer of volunteerism and social work, who believes that she should give back to society at the slightest opportunity and by so doing, could make the world a better place. In line with this core believs, she has volunteered in various humanitarian capacities such as Finance Assistant for USAID- Funded LOPIN- 2 Project of the Widows and Orphans Empowerment Organisation ,Technical Assistant for Gender Mainstreaming in Higher Education and Forensic Victimology Workshop at the Covenant University Centre for Research, Innovation and Discovery (CUCRID). She has also volunteered as Protocol Officer for International Conference on African Development Issues (ICADI) hosted by the African Leadership Development Centre, Covenant University during which she served as the protocol officer assigned to the Former President of Malawi – Her Excellency, Joyce Bandae.

Prior to joining ACHA, Yvonne worked as an Intern at the International Rescue Committee, KPMG Professional Services, Widows and Orphans Empowerment Organization. Her professional certifications and awards are Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).

Student Member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) , Member of theAssociation of Accounting Technicians West Africa (AATWA) , Member, Diploma in Leadership Development of the African Leadership Development Centre, Covenant University , Student Member of the Institute of Chartered and Certified Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and a Certificate in Customer Relationship Management. Additionally, she came 3rd Position in order of merits for research paper presented and published during 3rd Annual International Academic Conference on Accounting and Finance held in Lagos Nigeria.

Her interest and hobbies include but not limited to excellence in all she does.
