Mary is our newest assistant at African Caribbean Heritage Alliance (ACHA). She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology from University of Agriculture Makurdi and is currently undergoing her national service (NYSC) with ACHA as her place of primay assignment. She is a brilliant, active and efficient young woman with a rare relational ability to harmonize people towards achieving greater organizational productivity.
Mary is a hardcore advocate of volunteerism and social work, who believes that everyone in the community could be humanitarian, by giving back to the society in whatever little way they can, and by so doing, would make the world a better place. In line with this corevalue of service, she is an active volunteer with some humanitarian organisations including the Debriche Health Development Centre Abuja, the Red rCoss Nigeria, amongst others. Prior to joining ACHA, she worked as an Intern with Guards Brigade Medical Centre Abuja and 151 Base Service Group, Nigeria Air Force Makurdi.
She is also an visionary entrepreneur who is building her own business brand “Ogoms-Geboh (OG) Concepts”, an SME that majors in the design and crafting of hand-made jewelries and fashion accessories as well as a food services brand “Be-HealthiFied by OG” which is aimed to promote a healthy food lifestyle option for its customers, as against dieting.
In her bid to better position herself for contemporary work and business challenges, Mary has continually improved herself by taking various specialized training courses, some of which include the Industrial Trust Fund course on Effective Office Skills for Administrative Support Staff, the Catering and Event Management Training (Deborahs Palm Global Inv Ltd Makurdi), amongst others. She is also a member of the Gemstones Miners and Marketers Association of Nigeria (GMMAN) and participated in the African Gem and Jewelry Exhibition and Seminar AGJES 2019.
Her interests and hobbies include but not limited to fashion designing and jewelry crafting, cuisines and culinary, hiking and outdoor activities, travelling, meeting people and researching new ideas.
